A man awakens to the screams of his neighbor coming from the hallway on the other side of the safety behind his apartment door. He watches through a peephole as she’s attacked by a leather hooded man with a large knife. Confronting his fear for her safety and opening his front door to save her may shatter this man’s reality.

Enrique Manzo Escamilla gives us a dual sided short blurring the lines of fantasy and reality through differing sides of s doorway peephole. A brutal act, the bravery to stop it then the reality it might not be happening at all concludes in an ending to this six minute short that will make you want to lock your doors.
